Powerwave Technologies was formerly NASDAQ-listed, Global Leader in end-to-end wireless coverage and capacity solutions. Powerwave has sold millions of Antennas, Repeaters & Base Stations to Wireless Operators such as AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, Vodafone and many other Global Telcos.

The sole global manufacturing for all Powerwave products at the time of its bankrupcy in 2013 was purchased by TEAK through the US bankrupcy process. TEAK restructured the operations and exited in 2018 with a sale to Korean corporation Innertron Inc.

Founded in 1975 from the association of two Japanese companies, Ishikawajima Heavy Industries, currently IHI Corporation, and Dai-Ichi High Frequency, known globally as a pioneer in induction bending and polyethylene lining and cladding for the oil and gas and infrastructure industries in Brazil. In February 2015, Solina Global Corporation, a TEAK platform corporation, acquired 100% of Protubo. Almost 2 years after TEAK’s acquisition, it was clear that the business could not operate successfully through the oil and gas industry crisis in Brazil in 2016 so TEAK shut down operations and sold the land to a leading low-cost housing listed developer MRV. TEAK ensured employees and banks were paid in full and the situation was managed in an orderly professional manner. Following TEAK’s management of Protubo’s situation, the Japanese sellers experienced no negative impact of any sort and had no succession liability whilst employees received their full entitlements.​

A leading industrial and automotive solutions provider and product engineering manufacturer in Brazil, previously a subsidiary of by Senior PLC, a UK public listed company, in its Senior Flexonics division, the business was acquired by a TEAK portfolio platform corporation in September 2019 at time when it was facing closure. TEAK rebranded the business as Junior Flex and is currently implementing a turnaround plan which has already resulted in significant improvements in the company’s operations and financial results. TEAK has been actively engaging with automotive customers in particular in the transformation and has transformed the automotive division into a profitable division which is working intimately with its automotive customers ensuring quality and timely deliveries such that the business has been able to dramatically increase its market share. This transformation to a profitable business has been achieved in the most difficult of time during the COVID pandemic.

A leading conveyor belt manufacturer in Brazil, established by Goodyear before ultimately becoming part of Continental AG of Germany, the business was acquired by a TEAK portfolio platform corporation from the Continental group in September 2016. At the time of acquisition, CVB faced numerous challenges including having only one customer with an unfavorable contract. TEAK successfully designed and implemented a turnaround and transformation plan. Main initiatives added new revenues through long term contracts with blue chip clients such as Vale, CSN, Arcelor Mittal and AngloAmerican, restructured costs and expenses, as well as an adjusted union relationship. This strategy paid off as CVB dramatically increased its sales and improved its operating margins while keeping a strict adherence to work safety and environmental regulations. The company was positioned as the quality market leader in the heavy belt segment in Brazil. The restructuring was a resounding success. In 2020, TEAK sold 100% of CVB to Michelin.
